New Furniture!

I honestly cannot believe that we are in the last full week of January and then it's February! Where is the time going?! Well it has been very sad without all the Christmas decorations. I don't really decorate for any other holiday so the apartment seems empty. As a result, I did an early spring cleaning and declutter. Even with all the clothes I have been setting aside for donation, I find that the dresser drawers are still full (...drawer, please just close). I have been hunting for another dresser. The only problem is that it is hard to match one single piece when you already have a full bedroom set.

When Bestie mentioned she was trying to get rid of a shelf unit, I decided to take it off her hands. I love the idea of a multi-functional furniture piece. With the main color being white, it blends in perfectly with my bedroom set which is white with bits of light wood.

Bestie had all 9 cloth boxes for each shelf, but for visual appeal I only used 5 of them. I figure I could use the empty spaces to add some personal touches and other decor. I love the fact that this piece can be used for literally ANYTHING... extra storage space, secondary dresser, bookshelf, etc. There are endless possibilities. I do love how sleek it is and doesn't take up so much space. 

Also want to give some love to another new addition to the apartment. 

Thank you to Target for my pillow/throw blanket basket. It is amazing the amount of couch pillows and throw blankets one person can collect. But it doesn't change the fact that I love all my throw blankets and pillows.
